What Is The Last Green Valley?

Welcome to The Last Green Valley

The Last Green Valley is green by day and dark by night. We are a National Heritage Corridor with a rich history in a surprisingly rural landscape. With 84% forest and farm, we are the last swath of dark night sky in the coastal sprawl between Boston and Washington DC.

The Last Green Valley, Inc. (TLGV) works for you in the National Heritage Corridor. Together, we can care for it, enjoy it and pass it on!

It was damp but a crew lead by TLGV Chief Ranger Bill Reid, Windham Mayor Tom Devivo, Jason from Project IMO and TLGV rangers cleaned up a section of Air Line Trail State Park in Windham/Willimantic. It’s one of the many cleanups happening throughout the National Heritage Corridor in April and May! Thank you to the volunteers who joined us and the many organizations who have organized cleanups yet to come utilizing TLGV’s cleanup fund. We have a few bucks left, btw. So message us if you want to organize a cleanup and we can send you more info.
