About Killingly

We take great pride in the many attributes of our Town and are constantly updating the information on this site so residents and visitors are always aware of the latest happenings in our town.  Though this site, you can stay abreast of all Town Commission and Board meetings through the posted agendas and minutes; find the latest activities offered by the Recreation Commission; pay your taxes and much, much more.

Killingly, a community located in the Northeast corner of Connecticut, had its beginning around several mill villages which continue to be active community centers.  Many still support their own volunteer fire companies and post offices.  Killingly is comprised of the villages of Attawaugan, Ballouville, Dayville, East Killingly, Rogers, South Killingly and the Borough of Danielson.  Recently, after meeting with the US Postal Service, we were told that all residents could use the address Killingly, CT (for mail) as long as they continue to use the appropriate zip code (i.e. live in Rogers?  use 06263 - Rogers zip code!)  A small step towards unifying our town by making Killingly a household word and branding our towns and services.

Killingly's form of government, established by Town Charter, is Town Council/Town Meeting/Town Manager.

We hope that you take a moment to browse our site - and also the sites of the Killingly Parks and Recreation as well as our Public Library and Board of Education - for continuous information on town events.  If we may be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the Town Hall by calling 860-779-5300, ext 7.
